PROGRAM NOTE:

These Fall Training Programs offer cognitive remediation designed to enhance thinking skills.

All programs will focus on building language competence through strategic learning and insight development process. Building a thorough ‘language base’ by expanding the fund of knowledge and via nuance based appreciation of complex extrapolation is shown to build higher order thinking skills. The fall can be a great opportunity for children to inculcate such specific skills at a reasonable pace which gets lost in the rigmarole of daily academics. Parental participation and follow through will allow children to maximize the benefit of this training process.  A positive approach to learning and perseverance will yield best results. A discussion regarding expectations and need for hard work also helps change a child’s mind set about the effort required for new learning. ***Some children may need additional ongoing intervention
