HIGH SCHOOL EXECUTIVE STUDY STRATEGIES
ABOUT THE PROGRAM PROGRAM DETAILS

Conventional wisdom propagates the thought that a student would automatically develop skills and habits that are essential for scholastic excellence once he enters school. Absence of such skills however, create a great sense of apprehension for parents who then find themselves either doing the hand-holding or reprimanding the student for being laidback or negligent. This particular program aims to make those organizational and habit-forming processes transparent for the students in order to achieve independence that every high school student is needed demonstrate.
The goal is to present complex executive skills to these students whose executive brains are not intuitive about organizational framework. Hence the retraining process introduces methodology of systematic process based learning in a step by step manner. During the 10-Week training program students will practice prospective memory exercises, learn planning rules and follow organizational protocols with the clinician’s support. We will have a unique opportunity to further these skills by taking ‘real-life’ examples of their individual academic challenges and improve their study methodology.
